A DC-based UX researcher with a privacy background and experience in government, academia, healthcare, and nonprofits.
I love distilling complexities into insights to inform decision-making. Above all I am passionate about sharing with and learning from the UX and UXR community.
Prior to being a UX researcher, I had already been observing, story telling, ideating, and iterating. I dedicated 10+ years to implementing solutions in healthcare, nonprofits, academia, and most recently federal privacy consulting.
My interest in user research evolved more deeply as I worked to translate the needs of donors, patients, academics, and IT analysts into action. While colleagues considered the focus on stakeholders trivial and time-consuming, I recognized that identifying needs was critical to sparking transformative solutions.
As a result, I am committed to bringing a thoughtful, human-centered approach to every project I’m a part of. I seek opportunities for growth, working with mission-driven teams that empower users.
